Yesterday was something of a nice day. My Auntie D (for whom I really need a permalink, you know) had a booth at the art show in Colonial Williamsburg, and some people were out actually looking to buy things. The weather was excellent -- a little too excellent at times, as witnessed by my sunburned arms -- and people were out walking their dogs and generally feeling good, from what I could tell.

Does anyone actually remember the List Of Three Things I Want? Well, if you don't, they're a Sileighty, a Harley, and a house in Toano. (Given pricing, they may very well be in that order.) If -- when -- I get the house, I'm determined to decorate at least the bathroom(s) with my aunt's stuff. Maybe one in ocean theme and one in some of her other nature themes. She and my weird uncle actually have one of her tiles (last I saw) laid into the floor of their bathroom. She does mirrors, too, and she's started doing large wall hangings in the shape of windows with beach scenes outside. Perfect for bathrooms with no windows, and while I'd have windows in however many bathrooms I have if I had my druthers, one of those would be great for a windowless one.

Yes, I am determined to talk in 'when's instead of 'if's of late. Eventually when my stuff comes into real style and becomes popular ... yah, well. I've already promised the Co-Writer with the Longest Hair a trip to England and Wales to look at rocks tour all the 'historical' Arthurian sites, so I'll have to at least be able to afford that.

If you have been, it's a bad idea.
