Finished playing ICO last night and ... well ... after having to replay a good chunk of it because my PS2 went wonky and there are no save points past a certain area ... it ended well. After many, many tries. The game is simple; it is not easy.
That said, I'm going to be back on MX as of this evening, since I just found out this weekend that I can play it through with a different main pilot. Though now that I know all the basics I didn't know when I was playing through the first time, it might be a little less frustrating in some bits. Funny how that happens when you know what you're doing.
However ... however ... despite the fact that I've got the rest of the Top o Nerae! game to finish and God of War to do at all (MX trumps both as I'm borrowing it), I got a new little something in the mail yesterday that I'm itching to give a go ... and that is ...
'But Kara,' I hear you cry, 'bishonen dating sims don't sound like your thing at all.' And you are right. I do so dislike the pretty girly-boys; anime was so much better about that back in the day, when men were men (usually). But I'm not buying it for the art, the boys, or even the Kona-esque desire to beat the hell out of a dating sim. No, no.
I am buying it for the seiyuu.
This game, ladies and girls, has the most insane Who's Who of male voice-acting greats: Ishida Akira (Xellos, Nagisa Kaworu), Shinichiro Miki (Allen Schezar, Fujiwara Takumi), Koyasu Takehito (if you do not know who this is, just turn in your fan badge right now), Yamaguchi Kappei (boy-type Ranma, Inu Yasha, and L if you must), and Hiyama Nobuyuki (
In my mind, there is no reason not to own this. I must finish my borrowed game, but this is inching up my list, slowly but surely. I must play through it enough to get every guy. So I can hear the most out of every voice.
If you have been, that's huge!

Looks like I'm gonna be sick a little longer. My voice has gone again. Brilliant. But I've been away from work too long, so I sorta have to come in, whether I'm working from home or not. Just a bit better in general for ya.
God Cyborg Guy, Viral), to name a few. A very few. I'm pretty sure the only male voice actor worth anything who isn't in this is Norio Wakamoto.
And so I can name my character something really dirty-sounding and laugh whenever I get them to say it.
