So I watched the first episode of Blade of the Immortal last night at the recommendation of the Co-Writer with the Longest Hair. I knew I said I wouldn't start anything new, but as I'm leaping on it as it starts, it's not gonna be something I'll eventually have to chain-smoke.

God, that show is awesome. I need to read the manga now. Ultraviolence and a plot and hot animation? I'm down with that.

My g'mother had surgery on her hand on Monday, and she's doing well -- she just can't use her hand for about a week, which is driving her nuts. Hoping for a speedy recovery, as I'm sure we all are. As for me ... more appointments of my own soon. Rockin' hard, aren't I?
