'Ring-tailed lemur? I can kind of see that.' by Kara

First off, congratulations to our friends Rick and Cindy on the birth of Isabella Catherine (from here on known by yours truly as Izzycat) at 2 PM yesterday. The toe-counting seems to have gone according to plan. I, at least, will theoretically be seeing the little alien spore by Tuesday at the latest.

Unlike the Co-Writer with the Longest Hair, my Memorial Day plans are nonexistent. Right now, they consist of Sleep In Or Best Offer. Seeing as my only offers have been crash space at Balticon (a little late for that now) and a company barbecue (don't feel like it), I'm still waiting on a Best Offer. I need more thrills in my life.

Aforementioned Co-Writer with the Longest Hair has insisted I post pics of my City of Heroes/Villains characters. My usual hero and villain will probably not interest you (although Co-Writer has given thumbs-up to the latter ... wait 'til he sees what I have planned for her future costumes), but my attempts at Kali characters may do.

Here is Kalibourne herself hanging out in Atlas Park, for instance. This is the closest I could get. But I really don't expect them to have her kind of armour detail, seeing as we're just that damn original in our character designs.

Here's Tali with a BFG, chillin' offside the statue of Atlas (which you can't see). He also has web grenades, and the list of stuff he can get later is intriguing.

And here's Reika in Outbreak, since I haven't had time to move her off the newbie level. (I always do Outbreak/Breakout first ... free mission/level!) From that angle, the bow looks nearly big enough to be the real thing ... that's as close as I could get for her kyudou duds, and there's not curly hair, so I put it up in the ponytail. I need to level them up so I can let buddies hop on and screw around with them. And I need to get Gwen at least one new costume eventually so she can have her civvies.

... really? I don't spend nearly as much time on this as it sounds like I do. In the early levels things tend to move pretty fast. Also, beating up trolls/outcasts/Arachnos warriors is great for releasing pent-up stress and homicidal tendencies. It's a shame I can't get it covered by health insurance. I consider it essential to my sanity.

Soon, maybe we'll get to see what's in the suitases!

If you have been, TABERO!!!
