Wow, five pounds of the Shoutbox and I haven't even had my tea yet!

So remember when I was talking about Gurren-Lagann earlier and maybe it is and maybe it isn't licensed? Well, finally found out from someone else that it's in this retarded limbo since ADV is apparently having a ... erm ... 'problem' getting licensing seen to.

Okay, look.

People rant on and on about supporting anime, buying the real deal, not keeping fansubs, hell, not downloading fansubs in the first place ... but this show is massively in demand. One of the more in-demand series I've seen in the industry of late. Sorry, man. I'm not trying to be whiny (just bitchy), but I'd think they could do better than this when people are practically waving cash at them.

So, erm ... clearly ADV doesn't want my money as much as they tell me they do.

I'll be bearing that in mind re: my future viewing habits.
