I'm not even worried about alienating my readership. The ones who do this really are that oblivious and are probably going, 'Thank God I'm not that person.'

What's your favourite genre of anime?

First: Romance comedy/drama / Sci-fi (whatever else): 10%
Second: High fantasy / Whatever I can get my mitts on: 7%
Third: Hentai: 5%

Magical girl / Sci-fi (space opera): 2%

Uncreativity Penalty: Oh, you kids were doing so well. -20 for 'Anything with a good plot, interesting characters, etc.' As is so often the case with write-ins ... a legitimate answer, but there were tons of you.

Points

* 'Animes made out of my favorite webcomics, like ConScrew!': -10, ya little suck-up. But you can have a sweet, if I ever get a little electric train like Stephen Fry's to deliver them.

* 'Anything which does not easily lend itself to slashfic...': +25 pity-points, because that means you're pretty much not getting to watch anything anymore.

* 'Action. Bubblegum Crisis, Scryed, or anything involving an underdog making a comeback. Also, Vampire Princess Miyu is a new fave': +20 for BGC, another +10 for Miyu.

* 'Magical girls, through a sci-fi filter. It works surprisingly well for the first two seasons of Sailor Moon.': +15 for an educated answer.'

* 'I would have to call my favorite anime genre the Brain is Melting genre.': +25, Evangelion.
