'It's like an accident with a ladder and a chainsaw, except that it involves guitars.' by Kara
Took a swing around Busch Gardens Europe with the Co-Writer with the Bluest Liver yesterday. No rides. We only really had three goals: try Busch's new seasonal beer (Spiced Wheat ... on the much lighter side, which I'm not used to, but still gets a big thumbs-up), renew my pass, and have a close-up look at Griffon. (Yeah, it's 'Griffon,' not 'The Griffon,' apparently.) Very nice up close -- the colours on it are nice. Well, the blue of the track. I'm not big on the red and yellow cars, but I'm assured that they look freakin' awesome in motion.
But more important, the shop is open. They have baseball caps (which I might buy if I'm treated very nicely indeed), shirts, little stuffed animals, and -- most importantly -- diamond tread shot glasses. At some point I want to expand my collection of Busch Gardens shot glasses -- it consists of three so far. I prefer tall shots, but whatever's there is up for consideration. Perhaps I should have a separate shelf. (The CW with the BL gave me her 'Crybabies Don't Ride' glass, since she figured I'd earned it.)
Looking forward to my traditional summer pass abuse. If you have been, hoi hoi hoi!

Got some pretty stuff in the mail, in the form of Princess Nine cels. It breaks my heart that I will be parting with at least one of them, but there's also the whole thing of half the reason for my bidding on them was on behalf of the Co-Writer with the Longest Hair, because I'm the only one who'll let him leech off my eBay account. I shan't weep for terribly long, especially since I got one I wanted for myself.
