'Look! It's a green monkey ... and an ORANGE monkey!!!' by Kara
Ow ow ow.
I will go over Howl-O-Scream adventures in the Kali rant tomorrow. Because, you know, that's fair. I suppose the Co-Writer with the Longest Hair can go halfsies on it.
Suffice to say that my legs and my voice are both currently dead. And I don't care terribly much.
Tomorrow's Hallowe'en, which means I've got fun ahead of me. I need to be prepared at work to pull down the Hallowe'en section first thing on 1 November and replace it with my magnificent Thanksgiving one. Then I need to start working on the Christmas one. I'm amazed I haven't become a downright humbug.
I'm helping some friends out in their neighbourhood, since they have lots of kids in that area and I have next to none. And also because one or both of them may be occasionally occupied by a small squealing child. I haven't decided what to wear yet, but it's not like I don't have anything to choose from.
Some year I'd actually like to make a costume specifically for Hallowe'en, but this year I'm so concerned with getting new ones done for whatever cons I can that I don't think it's terribly much an issue. I've got both American McGee's Alice and a Slytherin uniform. There's been a request for me to do my hair and leave my glasses on and be Moaning Myrtle. Eeeeeh, we'll see. I'm getting more and more disenchanted with Potter, especially since my weird uncle and I already know how it's gonna end. Why? Because any monkey who's read Joseph Campbell knows how it's gonna end.
Why is it the only Co-Writer I didn't see this weekend was the local?
And kinda speaking of which, I'm currently passing a notebook around 'mongst all of them to work on the Adventures of the Co-Writers for a future edition. Because everyone needs to be happy with it before I'll do it. If you have been, thank God.
