'My brain is half-eaten from solvents and lack of sleep.' by Kara
The stupid thing is, I'm actually enjoying it to a degree. Getting stuff done, that is. It's nice to know that, on things like books, there's an end point when I get to hold it in my hands and go, 'Yeah. I did that.'
I'm sure my Auntie D, as quoted above, knows exactly how I feel.
Every once in awhile, I run across a food that is godlike, and I feel obligated to inform everyone of it. It's Wawa again, but this time it's -- get this -- a turkey and stuffing sandwich. A Wawa turkey and stuffing sandwich. I mean, this is freakin' amazing. The Marketplace at W&M used to do that sort of thing, and that was pretty damn good. This is better. Good enough that I can be both nostalgic about and unimpressed by the college one. And you can get anything you want on it, but trust me. All you need are the turkey, the stuffing, and the cranberry sauce. Don't go putting veggies on this (and that's not just me doing my typical 'NO GREEN STUFF!!!!'), don't add mayo or chipotle, and do not add fscking cheese for the love of God. Just order it as God intended. You will be so happy, it's not even funny.
One flaw with this: it's so good, sometimes they run out of ingredients and you can't actually order it. That happened to me Monday ... and now, having written about this at length, it'd better not happen to me today.
If you have been, good job.

Life continues busier and busier. I can't wait 'til the nice gap between fall cons and winter cons. I'll still have work to do, but I can take my time on it. And I enjoy taking my time. Taking my time is way fun. And at least I get a weekend out coming up. That'll be incredibly nice. There's only so long you can dash between work and home with a sandwich/salad/whatever without going a tad nuts.
