I saw a deer carcass near the exit onto 199 this morning. And all the little huge-ass birdies were having breakfast.

I don't know whether I'm sad that the deer died, or annoyed because I know the city is never gonna clean it up.

I gave up some online games, and am replacing them with City of Heroes. Because, surprisingly enough, CoH will be less of a commitment than the stuff I was doing before. If I decide I wanna putz away from this for a week, no one's gonna care. I was considering going back to Fairyland, but it's so reliant on building work skills that there's really no point in actually playing it. Also, as a wise friend of mine once said, it's kind of dumb to pay someone else to let you work.

I hope it works soon, because I've already made my first character, and she's gonna be pretty cool once I've souped her up enough. She already looks cool. And she doesn't look all goth or anime or anything. I deliberately toned her down appearance-wise, because that'll be even more fun when she's Force-choking people.

I originally wasn't gonna have Adrian come in contact with Hiru 'til towards the end of his story, but this confrontation (which continues Wednesday) was just too tempting. Plus, it lets me tell Hiru's side of it later. Remember, Hiru drew first blood on ConScrew. First death in the combine still belongs to Kalibourne (or, rather, to a character in said comic), though. I think. Yeah. No one's died anywhere else yet.
