Mainly, this is to let people know I'm alive. I'm alive. Also, a bit pointless to do poll results now, so I'm just going to start again on Friday. Sorry. Hell of a weekend, hell of a few days. Still getting back on my feet, I'm afraid.

Also, my birthday is a week from today, and I still have no idea what I'll be doing. If I do anything it'll likely be on a weekend, anyway ... which means just treating it like a regular weekday and looking forward to something proper. Fingers crossed.

On a more down note, we're burying Noriko this coming weekend. But, well, it has to be done, and maybe it'll give me that fancy new psychological C-word*. Keeping myself busy (busier than usual, I mean) is also helping a bit.

And thanks to everyone who sent well-wishes and sympathy. I'm not big on sympathy, but at times like this it's truly warranted and I have no issues accepting it. So thanks.

Hey, poll results Friday, which will (I hope) be plenty wacky for ya. If you have been, better.

* 'Closure.' I know what it's meant to mean, but for some reason it sounds really touchy-feely and deceptive. No, I can't think of a replacement word. It's just one that weirds me out for no reason. Kinda like 'moist' and 'thinspiration.'
