So I'm writing a lot now.

I mean, I'm always writing a lot, granted. But I'm writing a lot that has nothing to do with anything on ConScrew.com.

Years ago, I got snowed in and started writing to keep myself from going stir-crazy. I wrote a freaking book, people said they liked it, and then years later I realised it was rather immature (writing-wise, I mean). Kind of like my art, it hurts to go back to the oldies.

And then it started coming back a few months ago. And I said no, piss off, I've got other stuff I'm liking working on.

And it goes, 'That's okay, we can wait. But you know, in the meantime, you could always just drop things into a .doc file. You know. Just for giggles.'

And that's why I'm awake right now.

Goddammit.
