Five days 'til Christmas, and much like last year, I'm losing track of time. Mainly because lately I can't conceive of not conducting major events right around Christmas, it seems.

My Weird Uncle and Auntie D are leaving for their cruise today, and won't be back for after Christmas. Shame not having them here, as they're close family, but if anyone deserves a cruise ... well, the two of them have phenomenal stress levels all year, and I'm betting he's saved up vacation time. Hope she remembered to turn off the kiln.

Tonight, I'm actually having proper visitors over to the new place, so it's a good thing I've made it a resolution to keep it in order from the get-go. No parties or nothing ... oddly, cons are the only place where I can even borderline 'do' parties ... but I'm looking forward to people (who haven't spent the day carrying my crap around) coming over and seeing the place. That and, you know, forced leisure time.
