Tonight, my family is taking my grandmother out to dinner. Day early Mother's Day. I still think it's a bit silly to even leave home today, though. We've got ... well, besides Mother's Day weekend, we've got commencement at the local college and a LPGA tour stop. Commencement's what worries me most. You're gonna have all this out-of-town family come in, and their kids are gonna try to tell them about shortcuts and 'secret' parking places, and God only knows what's gonna happen then.

The proof of Volume 2 of ConScrew (in which the Co-Writer with the Longest Hair first proved that he was a bad enough writer-dude to save the president)came in a couple days ago. As it has met with my approval, I have placed the order for it, and it should be in very soon. In time for whichever con I'm going to next.

I know I'm going to AMA, but I'm really getting hammered to go up to Balticon. Every time I raise a point about money or general ability to participate, I'm told it's feasible. So ... gah.

If you have been, quit jumping off it.
