"Dude...the easiest way to score in Japan, is to flash your 'Ghibli Museum' bag when you're around a girl." by Rob
However someone needs to teach these people how to plow...it's still a mess out there today...you'd think a day after the storm stops they'd have the roads clear. Good thing I'm used to driving in the north. Interesting trip to work none the less. Good thing I left early.
Tune in Thursday for day 4...or 'The Great Ghibli Museum Caper!'

Co-Writer would/will tell me I shoulda just taken my time and strolled to my car as slowly as possible, started it as slowly as possible, etc., I'm sure. That's what I shoulda done (in retrospect -- I want a do-over) and woulda been a far more amusing story, but my head's so out of whack that I got pissed, ran out, slid on ice, and landed on my arse, ending up on my back. Hard. Badly. Nothing broken, everything sore. Couldn't move for a couple minutes.
Motherfucker could see me. Motherfucker just sat there and kept honking.
Bonus points: I am about 99% sure (unless there are two cars nearly alike in the complex) this is the same motherfucker who sat there leaning on the horn and chewed me out later when I was doing my partial move-in and everyone was over a space from where they were supposed to be.
Double-bonus points: The other night, there was horn-leaning just outside my window. The person whose spot is next to mine and thus just outside my window is ... guess who. It went on for a good hour, stopped for about 15 minutes, then went on for an hour more.
I was tempted to step outside, tell her to shut the fuck up, and teach her the proper way to handle someone being in your spot. Basically, you park behind their car. Then if they want their car out, they have a suspicion of who blocked it in, they have to come get you, and bam, you've caught 'em.
Someone needs to go in and cut a few wires for her. Volunteers?
If you have been, there must and shall be astin.

Sorry , for those of you waiting for day 4 of the trip, you'll have to wait a little bit longer. The snow from yesterday which crippled this area (it wasn't realy that bad) yesterday kept me from getting into work which means I get to play catch up. Again. At least it's not as bad as when I came back from my trip.

Delightful morning so far. Skidded on ice and fell hard running to get to my car, as I'd parked it temporarily outside the rental office to run something in and someone decided the wide berth I'd left wasn't room enough to get past. So they sat there leaning on their horn.
