'BLAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! BLAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!' by Kara
Admittedly, it's a bit weird to spend a birthday eating Taco Bell and watching Keeping Up Appearances. Not what I'd planned on doing. However, it's better than my 22nd birthday was. I spent that week in the hospital after surgery. Granted, I got a dinner-with-friends the night before ... but that was, indeed, the night before the surgery, so I was a veritable b. of n.'s. I spent the last few late-night hours marathoning my new Red Dwarf DVDs.
I did get to hang out with family a bit last night - good food, pretty earrings from my aunt, and a small child staring at me from another table. But as far as I'm concerned, I'm just pretending my birthday is this coming weekend instead.
Now, then. Let's talk about stuff you all care about: moichandising. Volume 2 has been sent off to the Mighty Publisher Man, and now that Katsucon has returned his soul to him, I'm guessing we'll be plugging away at that (as the Archbishop said to the chorus girl). It should be getting into your hands sometime in early April (as the chorus girl said to the Archbishop). So Ravencon? Ravencon. I'm thinking of cutting some kind of deal for people who buy Vols. 1 and 2 together.
Then it's on to Sticky Wicket Vol. 1. So much to do. And other little things on the side that I'm sure at least some of you will enjoy.
I have a rant concerning the licensing of Pretty Cure, but I'll wait 'til Wednesday to go into that. I've rattled enough for one morning. If you have been, turn the heat up.

I love dressing up Fangirl. Apparently, my readers also like it when I dress up Fangirl. So it's mutually beneficial.
