'So, a rat ISN'T a rodent, but a guinea pig IS?' by Kara
My nine-comic weeks are only going to go for two and a half more, which is a good thing. However, one of those weeks is going to include a con weekend; just not the one I thought. For some reason, I always move cons up a weekend in my head, and just make myself freak out a bit more. So, for the record, MarsCon is the 20th-22nd of this month.
Also, not going to Katsucon. From what I understand, the parking and general getting-around-ness are going to be rubbish. Also, the size necessitates paring down their guest/industry list - FG didn't make the cut, an' neither did I. And as much as I love you guys, I somehow don't think you're going to buy enough books to pay for everything. Hell, I don't think I have enough books left in the first printing to sell to make that up, even if I were to sell them all. (Need to do something about that - really wasn't expecting such an eventuality.)
So, I will be going to Farpoint instead. Same weekend. Gallifrey One is also the same weekend, and Leela, First Romana, and Mickey (whom I understand is a really awesome guy in spite of his quasi-gimpiness on the show) are gonna be there. But California is a bit of a haul, sadly. And I complain about big cons - that might kill me. I'd need an actual Doctor guesting to get me out there. Possibly Sylvester McCoy - I've heard he plays a mean set of spoons.
Speaking of Doctor Who, here's a blond Jack Harkness in a Nazi uniform - to his credit, he was singing 'Springtime for Hitler' in the film version of the musical version of the film The Producers. Go see it.
POLL RESULTS: Which ConScrew character would you 'conveniently' forget to invite to your New Year's party?
FIRST: Fangirl - 51% (dang, guys)
SECOND: Adrian - 16%
THIRD: Ziggy - 9%
Hiru - 7%
Emmy/Mimi/Gavin: 2% each
Mona - clearly went to everyone's party.
ALSO: Isuka, Lady Evil (dude, you made The Co-Writer with the Longest Hair sad), and something about a whole with no bottom.
CORRECT ANSWER: 'Vinny. Uhmm, even though he hasn't been introduced yet, I hear he tends to be a bit morbid at parties.'

Currently working up the next storyline. Fortunately, I can keep this one going as long as I need to to get my ideas in order. Got a few pretty decent ideas I've been wanting to toy with for awhile, anyway.
