'If you are the hottest man in Christendom, don't ask for a massage.' by Kara

So since I was home over the weekend, I read Twilight. That is, the first book. I loved it. So much.

It. Is. HILARIOUS.

Seriously. It is one of the best pieces of parody I've read in ages. For those who don't know much/anything about it, it's written in the first person from the POV of a socially-awkward teenage girl. And by God, it reads like it was written by a socially-awkward teenage girl.

The whole thing covers every last trope of teen fanfic and back-of-the-emo-girl's-math-notebook purple prose. It really was hilarity. If the other three books are like this, I am so there.

Now, though, I'm listening to something with a little more substance. Time for An Earthly Child, for which my heart has been aching for months now. If you have been, this is the skin of ... a ... oh, never mind.
