Be advised, we saw a pigeon on the stage yesterday by Mich
Mmm, listening to the screams of people staring straight down a 205' drop, what a wonderful day! I am of course talking about the newest coaster here at Busch Gardens Europe. It officially opens the 25th, but if you're in the park, pop by, they may have a 'soft' opening happening.
This weather is doing some wonderful things to my head - as in making me wish I could just rip my head off the pain has been so bad. And the security headaches this weekend aren't helping.
Seriously folks, if this are were a target this weekend, don't you think they'd go for Jamestown (and Pres. Bush), Yorktown, or even Colonial Williamsburg first? And besides, what good does it do to stick locks on the gates that only security has keys for and then bitch at us when we need to get in, quickly, to save a show (or a person)? Feh.
The Mich works.
On one forum I frequent, we have a running thread (which I started) titled 'I am annoyed because ...' where people generally come in and bitch. I'm going to be using it extensively today, seeing as how people just can't seem to stop dicking my friends over.
It's odd, really, that my Weird Uncle and a Co-Writer should have very, very similar things -- you can line them up timeline-wise, really -- happen to them. By way of having something awesome offered to them by a friend, working for it, having it pulled out from under them rather rudely, and then having said 'friend' wonder what the problem is. Honestly, I don't mind if shit happens to me. Well, I mind, but it's me. I kind of expect it, and not out of pessimism, but because I'm really sort of in various health, family, and social situations that almost beg it. But when it happens to friends, I get incredibly riled.
Unfortunately, there's not a hell of a lot I can do about it short of getting angry, throwing things, badmouthing those at fault, and then offering various distractions. Which I shall be doing tonight for a Weird Uncle, and next weekend for a Co-Writer. Let's just hope it all works.
If you have been, fvck off.

May wallpaper is done. I just can't be arsed to put it up yet. It's nifty, though. Has Wickliffe on.
