Thanks, dude.
All this talk of the park reminds me that I need to renew my season pass like now. If I'm gonna go as much as I think I am, which I think I will, I'm gonna need that puppy soon. Unfortunately, my memory is rubbish, so I'm gonna have to pin a note to my door/shirt/forehead or something.
New wallpaper will be coming soon -- I tend to take my time because it isn't terribly popular. If you have been, blech.
This happened Monday, so of course, I still don't get full use of said hand yet. I can't really move the two affected fingers seperately without some degree of pain, and the swelling is finally going down to a point where I can see the lovely internal bleeding caused by the mangling of the vein (I can see the veins in my hand REALLY well)
But in other news, we're down to a few weeks before the park opens. Hopefully I'll get the passes for those who get them by the 17th. A trip up to NoVa has brought the costume bill up to $270, I still need to order a fabric, and that doens't count a lot of the fiddly things that need to go on the bodice peice...and interfacing, need interfacing.
Argh, look at the time!

I wish it hadn't been so pretty yesterday. The Co-Writer with the Longest Hair made comments about being able to take the bike out for the first time in ages, and a few other friends went out to enjoy the day. I, on the other hand, was floored and stuck inside, because one of the guys at work decided that he was well enough to come in even though he had a nasty flu.

It's interesting how the littlest things can just affect things so much. Like the 1/4" drill bit that went into my hand. It could have gone through bone, tendons, nerves, etc - and I probably wouldn't be typing right now if that were the case. Instead it goes through the fleshy part between the pointer and middle finger, mangling a vein.
