Somewhat on that front, I actually cleaned the entire flat yesterday for the first time in three weeks. I think that means I rock quite a bit.
Other other news? Look, Issue 3 all wrapped up. Omake next week, then the week after starts Issue 4. I know you're all excited.
If you have been, I had a feeling.
Actually, that's around $450 right now, known. Who knows about the unknown costs?
In other news I'm restricting myself from bookstores, too many books I want to buy and I'm too weak to not buy anything at all when going into a bookstore.

I can sympathize on the fabric cost. Not because I have one costume costing me that much (yet), but because I get overly ambitious and make tons and tons of costumes. One that I wanted to finish for MarsCon, had the needle not broken, is going to be done today with a bit of extra poking. Then I'm starting right in on some more for Ravencon, one because I really just oughta have it, and others because I've been wanting them. I've got a new system for how I get these metric butt-tonnes of costumes done for the right place at the right time, and we'll see how it works.

So the costume I want to make is looking to cost at least $400 right now. I've only spent $80 so far, but one fabric that I need 10 yards of wil cost me $23.23 - 10% (so roughly $200) and another that I need 6 yards of will cost me $28.75b - 10% (so roughly $150), plus I need to get thread, trims, and two other fabrics, one of which I found and only need a yard of, I just have to talk to some folks to get it, the other of which I'll practically have to make, but can probably get the base fabric for $4 a yard (6 yards - $24)
