Politics is Hollywood for ugly people. by Mich
Which is odd, I mean most things stay open Christmas day, why do they all shut down on Easter?
In other news, March Madness isn't just basketball, a local pet store claims to have it and are holding a raffle drawing every Sat of the month. So far the prizes have been a tank and a snake. Except yesterday the prize was a small animal of your choice.
Now the raffle is free to enter, you just have to get tickets, and guess what? Yeah, we won. They didn't have any hedgehogs, so we went for another guinea pig (that my mother has decided to name Peter after the guy from Heroes). I now have 3 guinea pigs and 3 hedgehogs, though I think my mother is slowly adopting the guinea pigs.
In other news I finally finished the Sub Space Emissary thing in the new Smash Bros game (to be fair, I didn't start it till this past Fri)
The Mich hungers.
I should've done a damn sight more sewing than I did yesterday (Co-Writer and I usually get together on weekends, but it was a little tough with the holiday and all), but I've gotten to one of those points where I decided it's better to wait and ask my g'mother. And since I'm seeing her today ... well, not a problem. I trust her to figure out just about any sewing issues I've got.
And now ... I've got aches and pains that need attending to. If you have been, look for it. (Oh, and Happy Easter to you Western Churchers.)

I still keep forgetting that it's Easter - almost went out this morning for groceries, but something on the TV managed to remind me that everything is closed today.

So my browser's dicked out on me twice and I've lost two rants. Not that they were particularly brilliant or important ... I was just saying I'd gone to see Shutter last night and it was a bit good.
