Why am I up so (relatively) early? I was feeling nostalgic. I realised that I've been so tired from work -- and, up until a couple years ago, school -- that I haven't just sat down on a Saturday morning with a bowl of cereal and some Looney Tunes. Cereal? Check. Even got some orange juice, but no scrambled eggs, since I'm missing eggs. (Even though the Co-Writer with the Longest Hair said going out in public in your pyjamas is the New Big Thing ... did he mean in general, or just me?)
Halfway there, so I check my TV Guide ... huh? I check the TV Guide site ... er? I check the TV Guide channel, and make two full flips through the channels.
Ladies and gentlemen ... NO ONE FSCKING RUNS LOONEY TUNES ANYMORE.
Even on channels I opted not to get. It is not here. Something that I took for granted all growing up ... there was an hour block of it. Now they don't even show one at random in between their Winx Clubs and their Yu-Gi-Ohs and their I-don't-know-whats. I may have to look at what Boomerang has and do like the commercial says and call about it. No goddamned Looney Tunes ... no wonder kids are so screwed up these days.
Eh, should probably talk about the strip, na? Yeah, it took me forever to find/construct a font I was happy with. I'm not telling you how I did it, because it's probably not as impressive a feat as it might seem.
As Co-Writer said back at MarsCon, time to start writing up the Rules of Kalibourne. Rule #1: If Taliesin answers a request with 'If you insist,' it's probably an unwise request. I was silly enough to randomly declare one of them as #17 awhile back, so we'll have to wait on that one.
If you have been, call your cable provider and request Boomerang today!

Randy Milholland had a S*P get-together in Richmond. I couldn't justify going last night, though, as much as I'd like to meet him. I'm not far far, but at the same time I went out to run rather urgent errands after work and wouldn't have been able to stay long.
