The posting window seems to do some weired 'erase the last letter you typed when you try to make a correction' thing...so I try to get it right on the first shot...sometimes it does it...soemtimes it don't. I dunno!

Ok she said theres pics up and lo and behold there are!!! Some of you will probably know what they are...but to the un-initiated I'll explain. These are the long collected *almost a year* suspension parts that I've been squirrling away for the FC. At last I have everything to do it right in one shot...instead of having to pay for labor again to put something else on, I decided to wait till I had eveything I needed to turn the car into an handling monster. Not that it's not good now...but after...hooo boy.

We'll use the last one first...thats a box for the dampers *you call them shocks, I'll punch you*. That says Adjustable gas Shocks *even though they arent shocks! they are struts* because they are adjustable for damping force or How hard the piston resists during bumps. The harder it is the harsher the ride but the better the handling will be. The front ones are adjustable up to 4 different positions, the rear 8. I can tweak till I find the right settings for street and track...then just switch between the two.

The next pic *the middle one since it's clearer to view everything* is the haul in it's entirety. Starting from top to bottom and left to right *if needed* I'll describe what they are.

Top- The rear struts. These are adjustable via the dial on the side to 8 positions of force. Combined with the springs they make up the majority of the suspension on your car as you know it.

Next down- Front struts. Via a screw on top that is accessable in the engine compartment, you can adjust these up to 4 differnt rates for the front. These also have springs that surround them.

Next down- Strut tower brace, rear. This bar connects the two struts on the inside of the car. Normaly just connected to the fender or strut mount, this gives the car added rigidity in the turns. Added rigidity = sharper turning feedback = faster.

Next down- Strut tower bar, front. See above except in the engine bay.Two strut tower braces = more rigidity =...well you get the idea.

Next down-*left* Rear springs. These are stiffer than the stock springs and are mounted on the new struts to decrease roll in turns.Less nose dive on braking and lift on acceleration means more steering input. See above for results.

*Right* Springs, front. See above.

Next down- Sway Bar, front. Ok this ones tricky. This little bar does one simple thing. Keep the car from leaning as much in hard turns. There's already one on the FC in stock form, but this ones much stiffer. See above for stiffness results.

Next down- Rear sway bar....same thing.

Next down-...hardware for said bars.

So there you have it...suspension 101...I could fill the whole damn log trying to explain the intricacies of it all...but that's the gist anyway. It's quite and art form as well as a science.

And I can't wait . I drop 'er off tomorrow. So tonight I go for a ride in her on 619 *a hella curvy road up here* to see the before results.

New photos in the Photo Gallery, which I'm sure abovementioned will explain when he rants later tonight. I don't have a clue what any of it means, and not for a lack of desire to. I'd like to know what the dammit is inside my car. Or anyone's. Goldy is probably not very exciting, and I doubt you can hook a station wagon up with turbo.
