Last night was my half-sister's birthday party. Redneck Momma planned a murder mystery themed thing, which I've never done before, and granted as it was mostly teenagers it went differently to, say, how it woulda gone with my usual pack. I will say that I'd love to do that setup for my birthday ... or just for giggles ... at some point. This was a CSI theme since the girl loves CSI.

Side note -- 75% of the teens in attendance thought I was their age and didn't know I was related to her. When I busted it to them that I'm her oldest sis and a year and a bit away from Carousel, there was much jaw-dropping. Usually being considered younger bugs me, but that was pretty awesome.

I have in front of me a minimum of seven different things I have to get done today, and I'm going to start one one as I eat breakfast momentarily. I'd also like to actually be able to do some reading today, seeing as how I finally got my next pair of books from himself here and I'd like to polish off my library books before I start on those (and before they're overdue). Bedroom also needs cleaning. I don't see all of this getting done today, so I may need to triage. And triage means I may not get out of the flat tomorrow and might have to wait another week or two to do ...

... something.

Not talking about it yet.

Anyone who doesn't know yet isn't knowing 'til after I've done it, and hopefully one or two people will never ever find out. Co-Writer knows. Several people are all over me to do it, but Co-Writer and Redneck Momma are the biggest proponents. And I need to do it before I lose my nerve. Suitably vague for you all? Yeah, I thought so.
