Instead of watching the last two episodes of Rideback, the stellar show that just wrapped up, I saw two more episodes of Gundam X *I've watched it before, but I'm showing it to them* and the awesome Detroit Metal City Live action movie. Aside from some small niggles(like the capitalist pig being absent), I have absolutetly nothing but praise for this, as it's nearly a perfect translation of a comic/anime to film mode. Much like Watchmen and it's script already being written for it, this is mostly lines and scenes taken directly from the show. And the actors are all great and most of them are spot on looks wise. Music this good only comes around once and a great while too...so I'm listening to it now. 'I am the DEMON LORD!'
So this weekend I'll be in DC doing the Akiba fest thing, if you're in the area you owe it to yourself to come check it out. Cheer for me...and especialy for our awsome guests that any con would be proud to have at.
Now I gotta go see if I can track down a copy of the Gene Simmons version of 'Fuckingham Palace'....wish me luck on that....

Though to be fair, I was having trouble enough of my own with my wireless. I did get it fixed eventually, though. If anyone could explain to me why my desktop's wireless adapter decided my router didn't exist (when it's the strongest anything in the complex) and yet picked up two wussy little things across the street, I'd appreciate it. Cuz that drove me mad for whatever part of the night I wasn't spending watching South Park.
I have been asked to remind everyone once again about AkibaFest, so consider it being done. It's Saturday, after all. (Not that I won't be reminding people early Saturday morning.) Lots of huge Japanese bands/musicians, and also Super Art Fight. SAF fans will like knowing that the dance card this time includes Mighty Publisher Man.
That's all there is to that. If you have been, I'm feelin' fiiiine.

Yeah, omake today. Well, Co-Writer's power went out and stuff, and ... I didn't hear anything for a while, so I got to go into Fretting Kara Mode. Not his fault -- I inherited that particular behaviour from my g'mother.
