Today I leave to go...well, I'm not sure where. My girlfriend isn't telling me...but I know it's in the mountains somewhere. I'll be back on monday, probably. Unless she kills me and horribly hacks up my body.

In other news< it rained...I should have known not to wash both the car and the bike....tempting fate there.

And whoever wrote me about the Rotarys....I'll be getting back to you...just be patient.

We had lightning last night. I mean crazy lightning. And the thunder to go with it. Crazy thunder. I'm one of those people who loves storms (up to and until the point where something bad actually happens), and this one huge killer of a thunderclap woke me up. How big was it? It set off car alarms.

And now, of course, it's all warm and bright and clear. 'Nope, nothing happened here. Thunder? Lightning? What's that? Never heard of it!'

Living alone as I do, no one cares if the place gets messy over the course of the week. That's why I set Saturday aside for cleaning. Because I start to care around Tuesday night, and then am free to do something about it ... Saturday. And that's today. So the theory is I clean today. The majority of the mess is from Tuesday night when I gutted Shibue (the new computer) in an attempt to put in a graphics card that turned out to not be compatible. Several different screwdrivers and the packages they came in.

Most importantly today, though ... the new season of Doctor Who starts in the UK. I'll either be getting these via Torrent or off my British friends. Either way, I will be seeing it today. Thrilled as can be, I must tell you.
