'You come late, ya get fucked with!' by Kara
See, a ticket to Robin-sama's previous tour (the closest stop being in D.C.) was my 21st birthday present about six years ago. I knew at that point that himself was almost as big a fan as I am, so I offered him the second ticket. However, being in Massachusetts, it was a little tough for him to come down ... so he missed the show, I got to go backstage, and I've been tormenting him with that for years.
'You know, the guy's over 50,' I said. 'He ain't gonna tour again. You've missed a once-in-a-lifetime chance.'
Then Robin-sama announced his Weapons of Self Destruction tour with a surprisingly nearby stop, and I had to eat my words. I knew I would want to go again. I knew that buying tickets would break me. So I explained to my g'rents and said two tickets as a Christmas present would be more than enough for me. I offered Co-Writer one, telling him that it was on a weeknight, and he said arse it, he'd go no matter what.
Priorities, man, priorities.
And yeah, he dragged himself there having been at the doctor all day and with a fever. Bloody drove himself. Normally I would give him hell for doing that to himself, but this was a special case and I knew I would do exactly the same. (Right now, I'm just hoping that the drive isn't what made him worse.)
I'll tell you, though. As big a fan as I am, I don't think I would've enjoyed it half as much as I did if I'd been alone. And Co-Writer really was the one to go with. He was looking damn rough, but when Robin-sama came out onstage ... damned if he didn't look so freakin' happy.
So I'm glad I could do that for both of us.
Keep the boy in your thoughts ... he's doing pretty bloody bad. An' I know we all want him better
If you have been, you sure watch a lot of Nickelodeon.

So this past Thursday, I pulled an early Christmas present out of my family to take Co-Writer to Robin Williams's tour stop in Richmond. (Hey, it's cheaper than going to Engrand again, especially if I were to get stranded in Paris.) Co-Writer has been on-and-off sick for quite a while now, thus continuing to thwart our every plan to get him down here for a bit, but I had a feeling he'd drag himself through broken glass to get to this.
so I can pick on him. Once he's back on his feet, I'm sure you'll be seeing lots of quotes from the show becoming rant titles.
