Some of the small caged animals were making noise ... so I woke up to feed them. While I'm up, I figure I might as well win at rant-posting.

Today is April Fool's, but online pranks have gotten so complicated that I didn't think I could keep up. These things take a lot of planning. Besides, Kalibourne is so new, and has so many NonScrew readers (from what I can gather) that playing you all a prank is kind of mean. At least on my end. You guys are too young and inexperienced and virginal for us to betray you with a nasty prank so soon. Or not.

Important thing (to me, anyway) is that it's the fifth anniversary of ConScrew, and in a couple days it'll be the three-month anniversary of Kalibourne. Yeah, that second one doesn't sound as impressive, but given the half-life of new comics these days, I'm happy about it. I plan to celebrate tonight in a way which would make my friend Ota proud. (Quite honestly, anything resembling being in the general vicinity of alcohol impresses him - his standards are pretty low.)

I will be making new art by Tuesday (I plan to sketch some shortly). Just for TWC, methinks - we've dropped into the 200s, you slackers. I don't know what's up with the other, but I'm thinking of just ditching it and either taking on another, or pinning all our self-esteem on TWC. That means you'll all have to work harder to keep us from crying.

Okay. Since I've won, I'm gonna sleep some more. If you have been, I actually did punk you and you don't even know it! HA!!!
