Heh. Remember them? The great thing about the pace of this comic is that it's so long between the appearances of some characters, you can actually see (what I hope is) an increase in artistic quality between each appearance. Also, we're just vaguely Top o Nerae in the second panel and Avatar in the fifth. That's okay, right?

God, I love Avatar. Which is unfortunate, because I have too many non-fansubs to watch of late. Ooh, there's a rant.

The Riches: Yes! I was so worried it wouldn't make it a second season, but it did, and it's getting even more interesting as it goes. Eddie Izzard clearly wanted to ride that train Hugh Laurie's been on, and while The Riches doesn't get nearly as much attention as House, I'd venture to say it's just as good. It's more continuity-reliant than House, but that's okay since I'm positively dedicated to it.

Crotchwoot: It's over for the season. I'm not sure what happened to it this year. It had a plot ... and it was good. Last season I watched it for much the same reason Kona watched Gu***m -- You Just Do. But I'm glad I kept watching, because wow. I especially loved episode 12, which was sort of their (to go back to the above) Tales of Ba Sing Se episode. Also, I've been telling people they can sort of take or leave season 1 and watch intermittent episodes -- but you can't do that here because there's character development. And how.

Doctor Who: Hooray! One episode and I already love it. But I'm still going to bounce around impatiently 'til we get The Moff's episodes.

Ashes to Ashes: Also over for the season, but there will be a second one, thank the Lord. Like its older brother Life on Mars, it explained one of the two major plot points and not the other. And I really love it when a show completely throws me off my predictions and does it well. That was freaking amazing.

South Park: Super. Super super super. Lately it seems they've started every season coming out of the gate like a freakin' rodeo pony. The first episode was pretty damn good but not awesome, but damn they just go uphill. They did Stand and Deliver last night. I also think they're a little pissed about the Superbowl ... just a little.

House starts up again this coming week. I'm loving the new characters, especially (rather unexpectedly) Thirteen. I'm glad the writers realised they had to give the show a bit of an upgrade, and it's going great. The rest of the shows, I dunno how long it's gonna be.

Oh, speaking of new stuff starting up ... Macross Frontier. Gorgeous. Oh man. More on it when a second episode comes out.
