Greetings from freaking Antarctica.

So the Latin Teachers came over yesterday to do me a big favour and help dig Kochanski out. One of those things about working from home -- you don't drive as much. So my poor car got iced in/down. After a couple hours, they freed it for me, which allowed me to come visit them last night per usual.

That didn't go so hot. Because Hampton Roads is trash at clearing off any road that isn't Warwick or Mercury, any side roads in residential areas are glorified skating rinks. Which means I slipped hard on the street, injuring my tailbone as I fell and my pride as I had to lie in the road yelling for help.

Still rather sore a day later, so hot baths will be in order on occasion. Not sure what it says about my priorities that I'm still more bothered by disturbing the locals and inconveniencing my friends than I am by the actual very real pain I'm in.

Heigh-ho. Stay indoors, be productive. It's supposed to get warmer tomorrow.
