'It's probably NOT professional to keep referring to an Oscar winner as a shiny Pokemon.' by Kara
Co-Writer has had a bad thing happen to his car, thanks to the snow and ice that are currently plaguing Richmond, and neither of us is really independently wealthy enough to come face-to-face with unexpected car issues and not sweat a bit. It's going to take him some cashes to fix his wheels.
This month marks nine years of bringing you Kali, and we love all our readers super-lots. You've stuck with us through everything from our characters getting dismembered to our artist getting stranded in Paris. And we enjoy bringing this stuff to you free. Though I don't often push hard for donations, I do leave the button to the left visible especially for times like these.
Co-Writer works hard to get scripts to me even after long days at work, covers my ass with weeks of material in advance when I decide to flee the country (which is happening again in April ... whoops), and I'd say overall does a pretty damn good job. At some point we'll be putting out books and other things to let you support us, sure.
But at this point, if you could throw a buck or two in the tip jar to your left to help ease the grief of his car repairs, it'd mean a lot to us. Anyone who donates at least a dollar will have the unfiltered, print-size version of the Reika art you see above sent to their PayPal addy.
(Note: people who've already donated will be getting this -- keep an eye on your e-mail today and tomorrow.)
Thanks for your support and for always bein' awesome. We really appreciate it.
