It's Halloween! by Mich
I've never realy been a huge fan of Halloween, and then getting the majority of Howl-O-Scream prep dumped on me has squashed any chance for the evening to get on my good side. Kind of like my annoyance with Christmas - when I'm preparing for Halloween in August (though now Feb) it loses it's charm.
Though I want a raise. They effectively dumped this little project on me, leaving me in charge and dealing directly with the powers-that-be.
Actually, I'll keep my pay scale, I want benefits, benefits would be better. Benefits would be health insurance and a free case of beer every month.
And we all know that beer is good. And we have learned oday that wild mice carry beer, great incentive to rid places of rabid mice.
I think I'm just going to end up pretending my birthday is actually next Saturday.
Which really has nothing to do with today's comic, which is mostly about beer. And beer is a good thing.
If you have been, you can stop now.

Yup, it's Halloween already. On Tuesday. Because rich people have theat much money to dictate when holidays happen it seems.

Save the short outing with the Co-Writer with the Bluest Liver (a non-lunch) and our Margarita Night the night before, I can safely say that yesterday was the Lamest Birthday Ever. Even more so than the one I spent in surgery a few years ago. At least people visited then ... and random blood tests aren't terribly boring. This one was just a doule-baddie because plans fell through - and these were plans to make up for plans that fell through last year.
