MarsCon went off pretty well. Good show Saturday night (though I did end up injuring myself and requiring a bit of bandaging), good panels, hanging out with near-strangers ... you know, a con.

Unfortunately, I've come home with something I've never had before: MarsCon Plague.

Now usually it's Katsucon that does it -- the Katsuplague is legendary, and I can't remember ever having truly escaped it. But I can't remember ever getting the plague at MarsCon. Well, it was my tenth MarsCon, so I guess the germs wanted to celebrate.

Swollen lymph nodes, painfully stuffy head, achy, appetite comes and goes ... oh, and my voice is gone. Thank God it went today instead of yesterday.

Sleep is in order, as is always the case after cons, and I may do something utterly shocking and work from home. Hopefully, though, recovery will be speedy. If you have been ........s ejfbdigd
