Today -- well, I guess yesterday now -- of Nekocon has gone well. I managed to bring out all three costumes I brought, which you kinda have to do when you're in two groups (the word 'group' here meaning 'pair' -- two pairs of costumes). One involved serious photoshootery ... the other had minimal and will probably have more when I get some stuff fixed for Katsucon.

One thing I will say? The cosplay was disastrous. Never have I literally run from a masquerade, but I did indeed pick up my shit and dash out the door (accompanied by others) at one point. Rule of masquerades, though, is that if a particular year sucks, the next year will be great because other people will pony up to show 'em how it's done.

Oh, and someone got stabbed in my hotel. I am assuming not fatal or that woulda made the rounds, too. But yeah. An anime con stabbing. Guess where we won't be last year.

And now, into that good night, with tomorrow being one more attempt at getting my photo taken quite a lot indeed.
