Once in a while, I find myself a bit ashamed of my old-schooliness, mainly because that means only one or two people ever want to watch anime with me when I pick it. It also means no one wants to go see Speed Racer with me, and I'd like a second look at it.

However, once I'm in possession of a working iPod again, I can temper my shame by listening to Anime World Order, because these people think like me. Here, specifically, is the best example. The episode rundown lists 56:57 as one of the times for a review, and if you're interested, I suggest you listen to that, because it sums up one of my favourite genres perfectly.

However, 'for the lulz' (as the youths say now), I also suggest you go to about 24:00. The wind-up covers my opinion of newer shows and US distribution of anime in general, yes ... but it also has the best Saint Seiya ad ever in the world ever.

If you have been, cover that.

That thing is adorable, love it.

Anyways, as always anything I may want to rant about has completely left my head in a night of sleep.

Some friends of our have an anniversary this weekend, so Happy Anniversary!

And while I'm at it, since I won't be ranting till after the fact:

Happy Birthday to the little girl too!

My room looks like it exploded, so I need to find time today to take care of it and laundry. Pretty boring stuff.

Still, tomorrow at work I can continue to plan a possible trip to London in Sept. One of my friends who came with me in Sept got to spend her birthday there, so I'm hoping that perhaps I can spend my birthday there as well!
