'I've got something on either side that could eat me!' by Kara
Least I'm learning how to drive with a joystick ... it's kinda hard to know when to brake and when to hit the gas when you can't actually feel anything. Now if the Cyberwocky owner would just quit referring to it as 'junker racing,' I'd be a lot happier. The Co-Writer with the Bluest Liver thinks she's all that because she beat my Silvia with a freakin' pimped-out race car ... clearly she is not in touch with the true spirit of the game (or else I'm just not l33t enough yet to overcome speed with skill, am I?). That's okay. She's generally one TV over being in touch with the true spirit of Super Smash Bros. Melee and yelling at Dr. Mario. Seeing as I'm a button-masher, I think something like GT with a few more consistent things is more my (ha ha) speed. I can't be bothered to learn combos -- and can't remember them if I do.
Membership gets me two free hours a month and discounts for the rest. If they ever get Guitar Hero, I am sooooo fscked.
I'm working on some Hallowe'en wallpapers for all four comics to get donations back in line. Also tinkering with a new site design (for here, at least) that I'd like to go live with this week. Redoing the archives is the bugger, unfortunately ... and I think I'm going to assemble a proper Characters page, which means more work.
Still waiting to hear on a Nekocon table. If I don't get one, I'll lug my books to karaoke and use my bit of time to shill.
If you have been, it burns us.

So I've been to Cyberwocky twice now, bought myself a PS2 memory stick, and am now playing Gran Turismo. I've never played a game that made me earn a license to play. Consistently getting bronzes on my B-level tests, but at the moment I don't care about getting any higher. Just want my goddamned garage, and then when I've been playing awhile I'll go back and get trophies I can actually be proud of.
