'Have you ever undressed in front of a dog?' by Kara
I keep misplacing cons in my schedule. For some reason, and I don't know what, I keep thinking Shore Leave (at which I'm performing) is this coming weekend, when in point of fact it's on the 13th. That's good. I need to keep remembering that, or I'll stress more than is necessary. Also, I should take it as a sign to get things done.
Book news! I got the proofs back for Blacklight 1, and the covers are great but the interior needs to be reworked for quality. The Mighty Publisher Man is sending me new Photoshop actions for that, which will be great and fast, but will also involve spending monies. $200 to upgrade, to be exact. I want to get this stuff out soon, but I'm not sure how long it'll take to do that. I really, really don't want to dip into my Sileighty fund to do it. But I'm not sure what else to do, unless I take on a lot of commissions in the next couple weeks.
Fuu.
If you have been, too bad.
You know, someone is out to get me into trouble this year. First the whole thing at the beginning of the season that had me in a different department for a month to remove me 'from the crossfire' and now claims that I spend all day at varying areas when I'm off those days (and I have not been playing in the park on my days off this year). I have my suspicions that it's one of 3 to 5 different people. The last two I'm fairly certain it's not (or else the people in question are REALLY good at acting). I've been avoiding 3, so it's a bit odd of it came from that person, but still possible. 1 gets on my nerves. Gets on everyones nerves really, and everyone else seems to think that person 1 is responsible. And person 2 would do something like that if person 2 thought that I was a threat, whether it be to something related to work, or to personal stuff.
And that was at the start of the week (yay paranoia!)
And the week ends with a phone call to the police and learning that my next door neighbour has a drinking problem (way too loud and way too many attempts to get them to quiet down a bit that failed). I know I'm the Co-Writer with the Bluest Liver, but I don't get complaints from my neighbours, I'm not missing work and I certainly haven't stood on my front step and argued with the police (who really should've arrested him). Sounds like he gets angry when confronted when drunk, so nope, not oging over there anymore. If I can catch the considerate roommate (who is trying to move out because he hates the one with the problem) then I'll try to be nice, but otherwise, I have a feeling it's just going to be the police.
What a fun week! Ending with Dr Who, no where to park in my complex because of a party no where near where I live and a very definite summer cold.
The Mich wants to go home.

Well, last night's Doctor Who seems to have divided the fandom. This should be fun. (Then again, I don't care.)

(As I realise I have no sense of grammar this early in the morning) Mmm, drunken hugs by Wickliffe.
